This offer is for Entrants to go into the draw to win the Prize by following the @doordash_aus and @costco_aus accounts on Instagram and liking and tagging 1 friend in the comments of the collab promotional post on the @doordash_aus and @costco_aus Instagram accounts and, for an additional entry into the draw, adding the promotional post to the Entrants’ story on Instagram during the Competition Period (Competition).
By entering the Competition, all Entrants acknowledge that they have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Definitions
The following definitions apply to these Terms and Conditions:
Competition Period means the period commencing on 11 June 2025 at 12:00am AEST and ending on 25 June 2025 at 11:59pm AEST;
Costco® Warehouse means any “Costco®” brand retail warehouse in Australia;
DoorDash App means the Promoter’s mobile DoorDash app available on iPhone and Android or the Promoter’s website platform;
Draw Date means 27 June 2025;
Eligibility Criteria means an individual who:
is an Australian resident;
is over the age of 18 years old;
is not an employee (or immediate family member of an employee), contractor, representative agent, director or officer of the Promoter or any of the Promoter’s parent, subsidiary, or affiliated companies, marketing agencies, and any other parties involved in the administration of the Competition. Immediate family member means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin;
complies with these Terms and Conditions;
Entrant means an individual who meets the Eligibility Criteria and enters the Competition in accordance these Terms and Conditions;
Prize means:
x1 Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer Bundle with stand in copper/nickel (valued at $599.98 including GST based on the member price available at Costco® Warehouse); and
x1 DoorDash voucher valued at AUD$200 including GST (excluding delivery fees, service fees and small order fees) redeemable on the DoorDash App using a unique promo code;
Promoter means DoorDash Technologies Australia Pty Ltd ABN 96 634 446 030 of Level 8, 222 Exhibition Street, Melbourne VIC 3000;
Website means https://doordash.jotform.com/251458228345864.
How to enter the Competition
To enter the Competition and go into the draw to win a Prize, Entrants must, during the Competition Period:
follow the @doordash_aus and @costco_aus accounts on Instagram;
like the collab promotional post made on the @doordash_aus and @costco_aus Instagram accounts (Promotional Post); and
tag 1 friend in the comments of the Promotional Post,
(Comment Entry).
When an Entrant submits a valid Comment Entry, they will receive 1 entry into the Competition to win a Prize. Thereafter, the Entrant can receive an additional Comment Entry into the Competition for each individual comment they make on the Promotional Post which tags 1 friend.
For the avoidance of doubt, a Comment Entry will be deemed invalid:
if the Entrant tags more than 1 friend in their comment on the Promotional Post; and/or
if the Entrant has tagged the same friend in a previous comment on the Promotional Post.
An Entrant may submit 1 bonus entry into the draw to win a Prize where, during the Competition Period:
the Entrant submits a valid Comment Entry; and
the Entrant adds the Promotional Post to the story of their Instagram account, which must be the same Instagram account used by the Entrant to submit their Entry into the Competition, and tagging the @doordash_aus and @costco_aus Instagram accounts on said story,
(Bonus Entry).
When an Entrant submits a valid Bonus Entry, they will receive 1 entry into the Competition to win the Prize.
For the avoidance of doubt, a Comment Entry and a Bonus Entry are each individually described as an “Entry” for the purpose of these Terms and Conditions.
For the avoidance of doubt, a Comment Entry will be deemed invalid:
if the Entrant tags more than 1 friend in their comment on the Promotional Post; and/or
if the Entrant has tagged the same friend in a previous comment on the Promotional Post.
The maximum number of Comment Entries into the Competition per Entrant is unlimited. The maximum number of Bonus Entries into the Competition per Entrant is unlimited.
Entrants must remain a followers of the @doordash_aus and @costco_aus Instagram accounts for the full duration of the Competition Period.
The eligibility of an Entry is solely at the discretion of the Promoter, and the Promoter reserves the right to reject any Entry.
How the Prize Winner is selected
The Competition is a game of chance. Skill plays no part in determining the winner of the Prize.
The winning entry of the Competition will be selected at 3.00 pm AEST on the Draw Date using computerised random selection at the Promoter’s office located at Level 28, Suite 102, 161 Castlereagh Street, Sydney NSW 2000.
There will be 1 winning entry of the Competition (Prize Winner). The Prize Winner will receive the Prize.
The Promoter reserves the right to draw additional reserve winning entries and record them in case an ineligible Entry is drawn as a winning entry. The Prize Winner need not be present at the draw.
The Promoter's decision is final, and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result of the Competition.
Notification and claiming the Prize
The Promoter will notify the Prize Winners by direct message via their Instagram accounts within 2 business days of the Draw Date. The Prize Winners’ last name, first initial and postcode will be published on the @doordash_aus Instagram account on the Draw Date and for 28 days following the Draw Date.
The Promoter will take all reasonable steps to identify and notify the Prize Winners, however it is the sole responsibility of Entrants to ensure their Instagram account settings allow for such notifications and to check their direct messages regularly. The Promoter is not responsible for any missed notifications due to account settings or failure to check messages.
If the Prize Winner cannot be identified by the Promoter or does not claim the Prize before 5.00pm AEST on 11 July 2025, then the Prize Winner will forfeit the Prize and a new winner will be drawn as follows:
the Promoter will conduct an unclaimed prize draw on 3.00pm AEST on 14 July 2025 using computerised random selection at the Promoter’s office located at Level 28, Suite 102, 161 Castlereagh Street, Sydney NSW 2000;
the winner of the unclaimed prize draw (Unclaimed Winner) will be notified by email within 2 business days of the unclaimed prize draw; and
the Unclaimed Winner’s name will be published on the @doordash_aus Instagram account on the date of the unclaimed prize draw and for 28 days following the unclaimed prize draw.
All terms applicable to the Prize Winner will apply to the Unclaimed Winner.
The Promoter reserves the right to request that the Prize Winner provides proof verifying satisfaction of the Eligibility Criteria to claim the Prize. If the Prize Winner cannot provide suitable proof to the Promoter, the Prize Winner will forfeit the Prize in full and no substitute will be provided.
To claim the Prize, the Prize Winner must the reply to Promoter’s direct message notifying them that they are the Prize Winner and provide their contact details, including their full name, mailing address, the email address and phone number linked to their account on the DoorDash App, and any other relevant details reasonable requested by the Promoter.
Upon acceptance of the Prize, the Prize Winner agrees:
their name may be published on the Promoter’s website and social media pages, including Instagram, TikTok and Facebook;
to and sign any disclaimers or any additional agreements, deeds, waivers and/or guarantees required by the Promoter (“Additional Agreement”);
that acceptance, redemption and/or use of the Prize may be conditional on entering into and complying with any Additional Agreement; and
that the Promoter or its promotional partners can use their name, likeness, image and/or voice in marketing (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration in connection to this Competition.
Prize Terms
The total value of the Prize pool is AUD$799.98 inclusive of GST.
The Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer Bundle will be shipped to the Prize Winner’s provided mailing address within Australia, at no cost to the Prize Winner. The Prize Winner will allow up to 2 - 4 weeks for processing and delivery from the time the Prize Winner confirms their shipping information.
The Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer Bundle will be shipped via standard courier service (e.g. Australia Post), and a tracking number will be provided to the Prize Winner (if applicable).
The Promoter is not responsible for delays caused by external factors including, but not limited to, postal service disruptions, weather conditions, customs processing or public holidays.
The Prize Winner is responsible for providing accurate contact and delivery details.
The Promoter will not be liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged prizes once they have been dispatched. In the event of a returned or undeliverable package, a second delivery attempt may be made at the discretion of the Promoter, but it is not guaranteed.
If the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer Bundle is returned to sender due to an incorrect address or failure to collect, and a re-delivery is not feasible, the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer Bundle may be forfeited and a new winner selected.
The DoorDash voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount.
To redeem the DoorDash voucher:
the Prize Winner must have an account on the DoorDash App;
login to their account via the DoorDash App; and
make a purchase on the DoorDash App using the voucher’s unique promo code applied to the order.
The Prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other currency. If the Prize Winner does not take an element of the Prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the Prize will be forfeited by the Prize Winner and cash will not be supplied for that element of the Prize.
If any element of the Prize is altered, changes or becomes unavailable due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter takes no responsibility and reserves the right, in its sole discretion and to the fullest extent permitted by law, to change, suspend or cancel the Prize (or any element of the Prize) without providing compensation to the Prize Winner.
If the Promoter becomes aware after the Prize Winner has won the Prize that the Prize Winner has not complied with these Terms and Conditions, the Prize Winner will have no entitlement to the Prize, even if the Promoter has announced them as the winner. That Prize Winner will be required to return, refund or otherwise make restitution of the Prize.
To redeem the Prize, the Prize Winner must agree to and sign any disclaimers or agreements that may be required by the Promoter at its sole and absolute discretion.
General Terms
The Promoter reserves the right to, at any time, verify the validity of Entries, (including their identity, the Eligibility Criteria of an Entrant, and validity of the Entry) and to disqualify any entrants whose entry is not submitted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, or who otherwise tamper with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's absolute and unfettered discretion.
The Prize Winner can be disqualified after they are notified by the Promoter.
Entrants acknowledge that any material gathered and produced as a result of their entries will be owned by the Promoter.
The Promoter's decision is final in all aspects of the Competition and no correspondence will be entered into. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
The Entrants fully indemnify the Promoter for any breach of these Terms and Conditions.
The Promoter may change or cancel the Competition at any time, subject to laws.
The Promoter is not responsible for any loss or damage suffered by any Entrant or the Prize Winner (however caused) in connection with the Competition, or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking the Prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights, liability or remedies under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), or any other law, that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any death, personal injury, or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising out of or in connection with the Competition, including but not limited to:
technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control);
theft, unauthorised access or third party interference, whether with an Entrant’s entry or otherwise;
any entry or claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
any tax liability incurred by an Entrant; or
taking of or use of the Prize.
If the Competition is interfered with or frustrated in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law:
to disqualify the Entrant; and/or
to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition.
The Promoter will collect and use personal information to conduct the Competition and may, for this purpose, disclose such personal information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors and service providers and use the personal information for the purposes described in these Terms and Conditions and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. Entry by an Entrant is conditional upon them providing this information to the Promoter. The Promoter’s Privacy Policy is available at https://about.doordash.com/en-au/privacy. In addition to the purposes stated in the Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the personal information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, subject to applicable privacy laws and regulations. All Entries become the exclusive property of the Promoter.
This Competition is not in any way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, any social media platform, including Facebook, Instagram or TikTok. By participating in this Competition, Entrants agree to release any social media platform from any and all claims or liability that the claimant may have against the social media platform arising out of this Competition.
The laws of the State of Victoria, Australia apply to the Competition and these Terms and Conditions to the exclusion of any other law. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Victoria, Australia.
